Pastor`s Biography

Our Senior Pastor`s Biography

Bishop Maurice Anthony Clarke and been acquainted personally with the Lord since 1975 and with the Lord?s church for the same period. He gave his heart to the Lord at the very tender age 14. The Lord initiated the conviction and the dialogue because Maurice was dead in his trespasses and sin and needed someone greater than himself to raise him to life (Ephesians 2:1) Like the Apostle Paul, who was raised from dead self of Saul. Maurice, too` he had his own Damascus Road experience as the Lord shone the light of salvation in his heart and he surrendered (Acts 9)

Five years after his conversion he responded promptly to the call to ministry. After graduating from Bethel Bible College, he married his High School sweetheart, Annette whom he adores greatly: in fact, he publicly acclaims her to royalty, as his ?Queen?. First Lady Clarke as she is respectfully and affectionate called is without question Bishop Clarke?s stabilizing rock. She steadfastly gives of herself to his successful and growing ministry. She stands firmly, confidently and lovingly alongside her husband in ministry. Lady Clarke has also distinguished herself academically and ministerial. Annette having achieved her MBA Degree at Nova Southeastern University and presently almost completed her doctoral Degree Education Leadership, Ed.D ?, and has been elevated to the rank in ministry as a licensed minister. Her current ministerial title is Reverend. It is very clear that her giftedness and expertise are prudently and unsparingly utilized in the building and sustaining of their ministry.

Bishop Maurice Clarke says, ?It?s amazing what God can do in a life that was destined for ruin, a young man who grew up without a father, but had a strong, supporting and extremely loving mother who fathered him.? Bishop Clarke met his father when he was 35 years of age` and knowing what it was to be fed by his loving mom with cornmeal prepared three different ways. ?God is truly remarkable.?
